1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible 327 V8 and a Four-Speed in BC

Looks like a nice ride.....smile

The 41467 digits that begin the VIN of this classic Chevy identify it as an authentic 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible with a factory V8 engine. It wears an older restoration that is...

Would be a nice place to sit in the summer!

I never realized the dash in the 64 was so brightly accented.

Agree its a nice looking car for sure, I've got an old Motor Trend magazine with a road test by Tom McCall on one of these and the 327 4 speed barely allowed this car to get out of its own way. 0-60 in 9 seconds quarter mile in over 16 seconds.

I don't know Ray, I think 9 would actually feel pretty decent for the time in the big ragtop with a small block.

Being older, we care not so much, but the joy of manually shifting makes up for it it.

I do miss the 65 327/M20 when I see the stick. Hope that other fellow is enjoying it!

I bought mine for $350. Top and interior was perfect but quarters had lots of mud in them And engine was smoking the blues. It was red with black guts and roof, original colour was white. Rebuilt the engine and later traded for a 70 sports fury

Sure is NICE....to one of the classics....that has not been pimped out...with silly looking oversize wheels and an ls swap....

I even like the factory style mufflers/exhaust system..

Very nice however someone has chromed the panels that goes around the speedometer.  It should move have the much chrome.  I cant imagine trying to drive with the glare from the sun.   Other than that a very nice clean car.  Nice to see with stock wheels.
