Must have come from the "Orange Crush collection" !!!! Orange Challenger, orange Vette, then a ruined Orange Nova. Hopefully it was not an original SS car.... Dumb

Im no expert but SS option not likely offered on a 2dr post? So no harm no foul with the build? Would appeal to me more with a stock hood, black or white paint and dog dish caps. Jmhop.
The car is a base Chevy II 100 2-door sedan. I could imagine starting with possibly pitted chrome, salvaged & blacked out. Or maybe not. It looks like quality on the rolling stock & headlights, making one suspect there is much more lurking underneath. If the car is well done, bravo for making a silk purse out of a sow's ear. I get it. He built up a car to have fun with. Beside, the 2-door sedan is a stronger body structure than an open hardtop.
I've got nothing against stockers. Many say they are boring but I prefer to think charming.

This seems to be a common trend with so called "high end specialty used car lots" around here. Lots of US auction cars that pop up at these places with super high prices. Usually the cars are like this, absolutely no taste involved resto mods that get sold to people that are the furthest thing from "car guys"
