Just throwing this out there hoping to get lucky.

I need just the spring from the door latch or a door latch. I can buy new but have not been having too much luck with repro parts and their fit. 

located in Lethbridge

Sorry.

65 Acadian 2 door. I would guess there are plenty of cars with the same but I have no idea what.

the spring material is 1/8 and the diameter of the unwound spring is about 7/8.

are you talking the spring only or the latch mechanism?
