A number of my last efforts failed to get a coffee break going so I finally condeded! However, Beaumontguru, Winnipeg and myself are planning a coffee Tuesday night, likely in the St Vital area since those 2 guys live there. Possibly the Sage Creek Tim's on 59 south of Bishop. Feel free to join us if it works for you.

Ill be out that way curling in the afternoon. I can probably loiter around close by and join you there. Have to see how it goes!
That would be great. If you are done curling and have some spare time, maybe we could meet for a burger before coffee time? I'll likely be in the city earlier to do some errands, so I have to find supper somewhere anyway.

You bet. It would be great if you could make it. Just look for the table full of aged 50+ old geezers (except the young guy in our midst, Beaumontguru!)

It's all good but our daughter and son in law went with a group to Mexico to build a house in a poor area of Mexico, south of Tijuana. They were supposed to fly out of San Diego to Calgary then on to Winnipeg yesterday. The trip home turned into a Planes, Trains and Automobiles movie. Flight to Calgary cancelled. Ok, find a different flight there. Nothing available. Ok, find a flight to Minneapolis, then to Winnipeg. Fly to Minneapolis, flight from there to Winnipeg gets cancelled. Spend about 5 hours trying to rent a car, find a bus, take the train, anything. Nothing available from Minneapolis to Winnipeg. Ok, find a flight to Grand Forks North Dakota, 110 miles south of here. Midnight last night, get a phone call, "Dad, can you pick us up in Grand Forks Tuesday morning, 11:30 AM"? Not how my day was planned but they were desperate. Off to Grand Forks I go at 8:45 AM today. I keep getting updates that their flight keeps getting delayed but finally they are in the air from Minneapolis around 1:15 PM and I picked them up about 3 hours ago. Talk about 2 kids happy to see dad! Pretty tough conditions for about 1/2 the drive home, strong winds and blowing snow but I'm home now finally and staying put, it was a bit of an exhausting day.
