I really like how clean it looks without the side trim on the 2 door HT, like you'd see on a Strato. All I might do is add some nice polished wheelwell mouldings.
No offence to the 65 guys (I was one), but when you look at that clean unadorned lower bodyline shape, it's almost like the wide chrome strip was a last minute change demanded by some big GM guy outside of styling.

I was torn between convertible (which are harder to find) and hard top as well. For some reason I thought if it's a classic and will be driven only summers it should be convertible. But when the top is up on convertible it's silhouette and rear windows shape doesn't look as nice as hard top to me personally (65-66 hardtop silhouettes look phenomenal to me). And also all those dangerous looking metal bars and mechanisms inside...
On the other hand is driving or even getting inside of no AC hard top at +35° heat should be fun. However it can be solved by installing aftermarket AC.
Thanks. Yeah, I noticed the antenna:) It seems to be a common issue.
On that note... Does anyone have any recommendations for FM antenna that fits the hole and is not 2 meters long? I'm planning to send the radio for adding FM, Bluetooth etc.
I'm not super concerned regarding to the original look of the antenna, either way it's a chrome rod. More about the function and durability. Also I remember on my 1994 Accord there was a similar 1m long antenna, that was something I had to replace maybe once a year:)
