Well, preferably not an old one.

 Im in search of the rubber boot that goes over the steering column and up against the firewall insulation on a 1965 Acadian.

if someone can steer me to where I can order one Id be fine with that too. Maybe if I new the proper name my searches would be more successful.

My understanding is that part is not available aftermarket.  At least that is what I have heard.

How quickly do you need one?   My friends has a little junk yard with a few Acadians/Nova's in it.

Found one! I dug out the column that was painted when the car was done and guess what, it was still there! Guess I should have looked harder! 
This is great as finding one was really proving difficult.
