Custom Sport finishing caps

Just testing the waters about re-casting some Custom Sport trim pieces. I have found a couple of the lower trim finishing caps and was thinking about having them re-cast. I dont have a full set yet only 2 of the 4 but maybe someone here could step up with 1 or more samples. They would be used to make a mole so dont volunteer NOS parts as they may gat damaged. If there is enough interest I will start investigating. Script can also be re-cast . I have been told the script shrinks about 1/8.

Bill.

Hi Bill,
Are you talking about Custom Sport trim pieces for a 1964 Pontiac Custom Sport? If so, I may be of some assistance.

Yes I am. I am down south until April so I cant send you any info other than explain they are the 4 small die cast pieces that finish off the long rocker chrome and the rear quarter chrome.

Yes, Bill, I suspected as much and just needed confirmation. I, too, will be down south until mid April. I do have all 4 of these die cast pieces and am looking forward to receiving more information about your investigation. Enjoy the sun.
