Sounds pretty expensive Carl? I assume there would be numerous 3 on the tree pedal setups on a 66 Chev or Cdn Pontiac, but a stock 4 speed shifter would be very rare?

Yes, pedal setups are not too awful to find. I have a spare set right now. The tough part for the shifter is the bench handle in good shape. The linkage is reproduced and costs about $200 US for the rods and arms. He doesn't have the shifter mounting plate by the look of the picture. It's reproduced for about $50 US I think. I have about 3-4 shifter bodies and they can easily be rebuilt for about $75 Canadian for parts costs and shipping.

He'll own them for a long time..... Shifter handle is the hard part to find, the correct one. Bench seat and console shifters are different. Pedals, I've seen 2-3 sets for sale in the last month , not anywhere near that price.

I made a slight change to what you said in case people think the whole shifter is different between bench and bucket when it's actually just the handle that changes.
