New wheels

Hi im thinking of buying new wheels for my Parisienne 1964. Dont want to big/wide ones. So what do you think of 17x8 Barzetta America silver with 225/50 tires on all 4? They look nice on Impalas, so i think they will fit on mine as well.

I always liked the 5 spoke  design. Add the cost of tires and you are into a chunk of change.

Handling will improve and you may want to upgrade shocks while your at it.

Love spending someone's money.

I agree with comment above, any 5 spoke design looks good

As much as I'm not big on wheels larger than 15" on our old Pontiacs I have to admit I think that's a nice looking wheel.

Theyd give it a nice modern look. I think 17 look great on our cps, but any larger starts to look donky

Ordered them today with tires for roughly 1400 can dollar. I think that is a really good price. But i must pick them up myself. Its a round trip of 600km,but that is worth it

Nice looking wheels. I see a lot of the resto-mod guys going with wheels like this.

Wheels can do so much to portray an attitude. Skinny whitewalls say "stock", 22" wheels say "cartoonish & immature".
I think you made a great choice on the wheels & tires. The lighter weight will result in quicker directional changes, the grip will improve dramatically, but also the short & stiff sidewalls may make it ride with higher frequency "jiggles". It is nice to have easy-to-change options.
