Hi im thinking of buying new wheels for my Parisienne 1964. Dont want to big/wide ones. So what do you think of 17x8 Barzetta America silver with 225/50 tires on all 4? They look nice on Impalas, so i think they will fit on mine as well.
Ordered them today with tires for roughly 1400 can dollar. I think that is a really good price. But i must pick them up myself. Its a round trip of 600km,but that is worth it

Great looking wheels and a 'road trip' as well........

Wheels can do so much to portray an attitude. Skinny whitewalls say "stock", 22" wheels say "cartoonish & immature".
I think you made a great choice on the wheels & tires. The lighter weight will result in quicker directional changes, the grip will improve dramatically, but also the short & stiff sidewalls may make it ride with higher frequency "jiggles". It is nice to have easy-to-change options.
