G80 with an M35 but No M40?

V59, tools, ZC8 Undercoating!

W89, one pint tire paint!

 

Delivered directly through the Office of Defence attache of Australia in the United States.

Very rare piece of paper, I sent a copy to an Aussie who collects data on Chevies, right hand drive and left hand drive, I think he has a lot of data on RHD Pontiacs too.

So it's a RHD car shipped to the US? Does this mean someone in Canada could have ordered RHD?

 There was a 1967 Chevy II wagon on e-bay years ago that had been a U.S. mail deliver vehicle. Oshawa-built, RHD. The reasoning was it was a lot easier to drive from the passenger side & reach maiboxes on the side of the road.

 Yes, one of the owners of that wagon was a guy by the name of Tony who lived in Illinois. He had a major passion for Acadians and Novas. I forget how I got connected with him but I recall doing a very long phone call with him one evening maybe 25 years ago about all things Acadian/Nova.

DERAIL:  Ya,  i remember that mail car too,  and i talked with tony once,  geez it was about 20 years ago!   i wonder if he is still around or has his acadian collection?

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

 I believe someone told me he had a long term illness and eventually passed away.

Last time I stayed with my best mate in SoCal they were still using RHD Jeeps for post rounds.
