New Member (52 Fleetleader Deluxe)

I'm fairly new to the Group, first time posting.  Just wanted to introduce myself. I bought a 1952 Fleetleader Deluxe about a year and a half ago.  Since then I have really enjoyed learning the history of these Canadian Pontiacs from the information I can find online and in the forums.  Here are a couple pics of my ride.

Welcome to the place that knows and appreciates Canadian Pontiacs and their derivatives. Your '52 looks like quite a nice example. Still running 6V electrics? I have a friend with a '51 that is still running the once common 6V. The slower cranking and the yellow headlight cast all made me remember when. When I was a kid it was the VW Beetles that had 6V, plus MGBs had a pair of 6V batteries in series for 12V.

I think I am looking at a future Feature Car. Your Fleetleader Deluxe would look great on the top of the page.

Car was switched to 12 volt and a Chevy 250cid inline 6 paired to a 350 turbo transmission installed by a previous owner (my apologies to the purists out there).  Car runs and drives great however!  Wipers and windshield wash still run off the vacuum.
