Hi guys, on my way to grande prairie to my next airtanker shift. The station tells me that they are working on the fix but it won't be up tonight. They and I are sorry about that. Hang in with me guys! I'll be Bach, as they say!

Hi guys!  According to the latest plan forestry has for me I will be working with two big Sikorsky S61s until September 6th so the show on the 26th and September 2 will be repeats.  I have asked the manager to put the 50th on again this week but they told me they have a policy not to repeat a show right away after it has been aired (?) so not sure if that will happen. In the meantime enjoy the reheated stuff out of the fridge. I should be back with all new old stuff on the 9th.

By the way a friend of mine sent me this great shot of one of our bird dog planes on the way to a fire. What you see in the background is not cloud but a smoke column.  wasn't in this one that day but it has been my ride/office last season.

I know it was a rerun but it was still great to be able to listen again.

And at my age a rerun is just as good as a new one!

Glad you enjoyed it!  With our memories going,  a lot of old stuff is new again!  Up here in High level until the 6th I think unless fire plans change as they are prone to.

Hey guys another repeat show tonight I'm afraid. My last day on the Semo fire by John Dor Prairie and then drive 1000 kms with the 94 Impala Cruisemobile to Calgary for my next posting until September 9th. Then I'm finally done with fire work for the summer (I hope), pick up my latest vehicle acquisition, and back to new shows. See you on the road!

After that drought when it wasn't working I'm so desperate to listen I don't even care if it's a rerun!

Even the reruns are fun Ken!

But why do they love to cut off the last few minutes of the show when you aren't doing a live show? Again last night they cut if off shortly after you started your second last song.

I was travelling last night I had a chance to listen to it for a bit.  I must have been  just getting over a cold  from the sound of my voice and yeah the cutoff is infuriating. I have to talk to them about that.

I took this to mean he only got home today so I was quite sure he wouldn't have a show ready?

Hey guys just got home (finally!) from a short 700 km drive so there will be a live (more or less!) show tonight.  if I sound a bit punchy, you'll know why.

Hope you enjoy!

(By the way, the 94 SS performed like the champ it is!)

Sure, rub it in............I'm still adding options to that yellow car you traded for it! My dreams of driving it this summer are fading. Too many other things on the go. I'm doing a project right now that I'm a little embarrassed about but I'll post it when I'm done.

No, it's NOT a Tesla, NOT a Ford and NOT a Mopar but it's not a Pontiac either...

I can't even imagine what you bought now....

And thanks for the warning about the Beatles song, it gave me a few minutes to stop ignoring my wife because your show was on, so I went and talked to her!

An amazing coincidence. The same question my wife asked in a much louder voice.
