Brand new 66 Beaumont SD door and 1/4 panels

I am now starting the interior install on my 66 Beaumont SD. The previous owner had a decent frame off done on the car before he passed away.  The car came with many oriiginal bits and pieces including the door panels and Besumont Emblems, wh17133075786154977457476752102309.jpg17133076117938396043232833197997.jpgch are in good condition considering their age. The stumper for me is the car also came with brand new door and 1/4 interior panels. See photos. The brand new panels do not have the horizontal metallic strip on them that came on the original panels. 3 questions. 1) Where would the previous owner have purchased reproduction interior door and quarter panels? I understood they did not repop these. 2).Where would I find a reasonable facsimile of the horizontal metallic tape/ trim? 3) Can anyone offer me some tips in regards to the install of this metallic tape or is it just a peel and stick process?

Look like tempest panels, I used foil tape and went over top of my strip.

Tempest. Thank you. I did not think of that. They look identical to the original 66 sd beaumont panels that came with the car. So you ran foil tape over top of the original foil strip?  Do you recall the brand name of the foil strip?

In this older post heating duct foil tape was used. The result was impressive.     Canadian Poncho -> 65-70 Full Size Interior Tech Forum -> Repair/Restoring 1965 Laurentian sedan door panels post.

Could you possibly post a close up photo of your door panel?
