What to paint a master cylinder with?

What would you guys use?

I've done them in epoxy black, and the brake fluid still attacks it.

POR? It's clean cast iron, so you'd need a POR prep first. Pricey.

Anything else?

Maybe just Tremclad and be careful?

I use Dupli Color brand Cast Iron. It's the right color and it stays there a long time.

 Same here and yes, that colour is bang on, it's amazing how good it looks. And I agree also, it seems to last very well.

I've used VHT cast iron. No issues, easy to touch up if needed.

I had been around the block a few times trying  to keep the master cylinder looking decent.  Finally bought a chrome one.   No more worry's about rust or dripping brake fluid where is shouldn't be.

Here is what I used today,

Dupli-color, Gun metal.

I thought I ordered a new pivit arm but wasn't in the box.

Wire=wheeled and painted.

Dried very fast in the sun.

some other parts were not painted so they got a quick coat.
