I've been there many times over the years and bought many things there. That area used to have a number of great old wrecking yards but sadly not all of them are open any more. At least one of them was shut down because the state wanted a fence around it that the owner just couldn't afford. He is related to the guys at French Lake so a lot of his stuff ended up in French Lake. Nice guys and what a fun place to go.

My first thought was, "I bet Carl and Dave have been there"

LOL, and there's two other great yards in that area, Windy Hill Auto Parts and Rohners Auto Parts. Both very old yards and large collections. I've had really good luck at Rohners over the years but it's been a few years now since I visited them. Still lots of great parts in there though.

This is Rohners-

Yup, that would be the place. Can you imagine trying to explain to someone that we ended up in jail because we needed to get refreshed and clean in a lake after slaving away in a wrecking yard pulling parts? LOL

Last time I was at Rohner's I was amazed at how much good stuff is still there. Windy Hill is pretty picked over because they sell online and ship all over the world but I don't think Rohner's does as much of that.
