Anyone know of a shop that rebuilds steering columns in Ontario? Can't get the directional signal lever to work properly....

 No, wheel is tight. No side to side, no up/down play. No noise, rubbing or scratchiness.  It's a tilt column though, not a standard.

There is a guy out of the Hamilton area who rebuilds nothing but 60s and 70s GM columns.

I will see if I can find the link.

The column is a Tilt column, if it was just a standard column I've had them apart before.  On 66 B body Chev

On my 63 Pontiac, the tilt column was a totally different beast, almost top to bottom. I was able to find schematics on its parts, maybe something in the assembly manual? I have a 63 Chev assembly manual, never did find one for a 63 CP.

Not a simple column to repair or take apart. A lot of very fragile plastic and small unobtainium parts. I finally found some info on a Oldsmobile website, just dumb luck. I've looked everywhere for assembly procedures. To remove the signal switch entails taking 50% of the column apart and any instructions caution of fragile plastic, not reproduced parts.
Hard to believe the most mass produced car ever, 66 Chev, at over 1 million, the lack of parts and info. Any eye opener for sure...
