A friend from Saskatchewan just sent me this link for a radical new design internal combustion engine https://driving.ca/auto-news/technology-news/new-ice-gasoline-engine-rotary-piston-avadi-small-motorcycle-pinion
Very interesting, wonder how its fuel economy and emissions stack up.
On my trip to Ottawa, I visited my wifes niece and family, her mother in law had just passed on her 1984 Mazda RX7 rotary to the nieces 17 year old son. She bought the car new, it has no rust, interior is like new. The amazing part to me is it has 198,000kms. This new rotary probably shouldnt be called a rotary, the Mazda wankel was not very successful, major oil consumption issues, a lot got replaced under extended warranties.
