Carl is going to like this

I met a guy at the Rockin August car show today, who just purchased a 66 Grande similar to mine. Very cool car in mint stock condition, with a 283 and a power glide. He bought it from the family of the original owner. Carl will remember this car, it was talked about here years ago, and we were hoping it would make it to this site some day. He said to go ahead and post about it, and he plans on joining this site soon. Great car guy who wants to keep it stock.

I was thrilled to see this car at the show. I also could not believe it when I crossed the bridge to find another black 66 Grande. I think these guys almost ripped the space time continuum with these cars.
One thing we joked about was that they may have been in next to each other on the line at Oshawa. Does the VIN tell that or were the designated kinda random?

The 4 speed Grande Parisienne that is now owned by Kevin in Ottawa was built on my wife's 2nd birthday! Of course I didn't know her then...
