Just posted my 65 on kijiji and within minutes two guys reply very interested, set up time and place, then ask for a vehicle report. Fell for it once some years ago, surprised this particular one is still out there.
It's brutal and I think Facebook is even worse on the car groups. I do some admin work on 2 groups for Canadian Pontiac stuff and weeding out the scammer applications is a brutal job because they try constantly to get in.

I always assume the first replies I get to an ad are scammers, they frequently show up in the first hour or 2. They disguise their phone numbers, location, names, and many are just trying to get your name, address, phone, email, all to use that to scam others. I never put my email or phone numbers in my ads, I dont even use my real name on Kijiji or Marketplace/FB. I have zero Friends on FB. I have a separate email for my ads.
And now they have AI and with my age Ill probably get Oldtimers disease and forget all caution?
