1969 Parisienne coupe

Just went out and had a look at a 69 Parisienne for sale. The seller believed it was a 2+2. I went through the trim tag with him and was able to convince him it was a Parisienne and not a 2+2. He just didnt know and all was good. I decoded the tag and found it was originally an all silver car with red interior. I think that would be really sharp. Have never seen one that color.  The car has been parked for nearly 20 years in a garage but I dont think it was a concrete floor by the smell of it. the body looks pretty decent and the frame isnt rotted out from what I can tell. The sill plates had corrosion on them in what looked like high traffic spots. Anyone seen this before. What are the usual rot spots to look out for on these cars? I just may end up grabbing this one if it turns out to be a good candidate and everything checks out. Thanks.

Front end corrosion is usually on the area between the front tires and the doors. Rear quarter panels behind the rear tires are also bad for rust.

Beware of the hidden issues with the lower channel of the windshield and back window. Nasty to fix and difficult to detect without the mouldings removed.

Silver with red interior is a great colour combo. Any photos?

The car is not the original color. I am searching for a suitable donor car to buy as my Grande Sedan is too rotted. I want to transplant the drivetrain into another car with a good frame/body. Would ultimately like to find a Grande coupe with buckets but there aren't many available. Thought maybe this silver one might be good, but it still has the original 350 with Powerglide. I will have to have another look and take pics.

Wow that is a nice looking car. Good price too. I never think to look on craigslist.
The ad seems very vague. No information and only one picture. I attempted to contact. Thanks for posting this.
