I spotted this car along one of the side roads, and a few things jumped out at me.

We often see photos of 69 2+2 louvers put on backwards, so I guess this guy with his 67 was hedging his bets by installing each side differently:

(Passenger side is correct)

 

And check out this custom tail pan.  He's gone even one more than the Bonneville tail lights:

A different take on tail light for sure. Interesting.

As for the louvres, they remind me of nautical vent ports. One facing forward to bring air in, the other facing backwards to draw the air into the slipstream.
