I'm curious to see what the original can looks like on top with that solenoid removed.

I think you might be able to adapt some kind of hose fitting into it where it is ported out to engine.

I would be happy to keep an eye out for one of these;
There is a local yard that I had been meaning to hit BEFORE the snow fell... now it's gross outside.

Can you share a picture to let people like me know where in the engine bay that would be?

I am guessing that it's in front of the passenger side strut tower... am I wrong?
