Nice find Don! You better get back there this week while it's still there and the good weather is still there too!

Im not a fan of T-Birds, but seeing that thing in a pick-a-part is depressing.

I think that was actually a spring-type reverb setup wasnt it? The switch is cool, but the reverb unit itself would be a treasure too. Not sure if theres one thats wired to front & back speakers or of there are separate units front & back? If it is an actual spring reverb, how does it cancel out vibration from the chassis? Cool find.

If it's like the Pontiac reverb there will be a "spring box" located under the package tray near the rear speaker.

Isn't a reverb unit simply a device to introduce a phase delay to the rear speaker, giving the impression of a large hall via the echo delay?

Exactly.

I've tried reverb on a stereo radio and it doesn't work. Probably because Stereo splits the sound and with

the reverb it just becomes noise. I found an original 1963 AM/FM radio (mono) that I will be attaching the reverb to.

I'll need to get the proper speaker for the rear parcel shelf to make it work..........not sure what I should be looking for.
