I use ceramic coating on my alloy wheels, where it works exceptionally well. I found the hot solvent in it lifted stubborn brake dust better than other stuff. The wheels cleaned up nice, and the coating is anhydrous so it strengthens with water exposure rather than washing off.
I didn't use it on the paintwork because I found a wax that works beautifully on bright red. It's called "Lava" and it's made by The Chemical Guys.

I had the Impala done last summer. Paint was scrubbed to remove years of grime then coating was applied. Rain just collects in droplets. After the first body shop repair the reapplication to the left fender was paid for by
Insurance.
Was told to apply yearly. Makes a BIG difference.
