RE: Heater delete Beaumont

GM VVS didn't reply to me but I think if we get one more 20 dollar donor we have it! It seems to me $140 will do it.

Ok, so Frank replied to me. The documentation is 134.95 plus 10.95 for mail so we are there for funds.

Does anyone want to collect the money and fill out the form? If not, I can do it but it won't be until tomorrow and maybe not until next week depending on how today and tomorrow pans out for me.

That's the $140 we need (well, technically we need another 5 bucks roughly but I'll make mine $25)

Anyone want to take this on, getting the papers for it?

Yes, I have the form in the email so I can do that, sure. Looking at the list it appears only wagon64sd is the only person who doesn't have my email address to send me an E-transfer so I'll message my address to him. The rest of you can just he transfer me whatever amount you committed to.

Thanks!

One more payment to go. I sent away the form tonight. When I emailed it I asked how we will get the reply since we are dealing with a mail strike.

So we have a good problem but it's a good problem! Typical of guys on this site, I got extra money. I'll see that the funds get dispersed correctly.

My two thoughts are, do I give the extra to the site, or should 66Grande_guy get it because he contributed double when we didn't have enough raised yet?

George replied to me that he only works part time now, forwarded the application to John and they will email me the docs (minus the technical stuff they usually mail out) at no extra charge. I kind of figured that was how they would do them during the strike.

Yes, so this is actually a good thing about the postal strike. Because of it, we will get the documents quicker than mail. Just won't get the technical stuff that comes with every set of docs but I don't think any of us care about that part anyway!

Give it to the site! I'd just spend it on food. (heh heh)

Food is a good idea. Our local supermarket has pre-bagged groceries for $10 folks can purchased which get's donated to the local food bank. Is there something like that at a grocery store near you Carl?

You bet, our local grocery store is run by a great community minded man who is a big supporter of our food bank. I know, a town of 1800 and we have a food bank...  When I first heard about it, thought that was crazy in our little town. Then I started getting involved with it and now I have ended up running the drive at our church for donations for the food bank. Once again I learned to never speak too fast without knowing all the facts.

Hey I was just being a little passive/aggressive and (incredibly funny according to me.) I'd still like it to go to the site.

Maybe Todd can buy some food!

Ok, I'll see what I can do but if the boss says I have to give it to the food bank then I'm really in a pickle...

I'd feel better having it go to a food bank.

Whatever happened to the documentation from Vintage Vehicle Services? I thought they were emailing it due to the Canada Post strike.
