The v.i.n. on the car is a low # (973). It is interesting to see the wire bale retaining the master cylinder cover in light of the production date (which remains to be seen). The early cars, if they are like the early Chevelles, would've come with a bolt-on master cylinder cover. There was a running change on the 64s from the bolt-on retainer to the wire retainer.
At any rate, the car was bid to $5400 USD and sold. The auction was in Illinois so whoever bought it likely doesn't really know what an Acadian Beaumont is (Canadian Chevelle? Pontiac Beaumont grrr).
