Muskoka snow

So here's a couple of pics to show the snow we got over the last 2 days. Bracebridge was rumoured to have had 89 CM yesterday BEFORE it snowed another 10-12" last night!!!!!

This is last night at 5 pm, I shovelled the BBQ off to use it. It looks the same this morning!!

This pic is my hot tub in the foreground, that little pile on the right, the high spot I left to show the total amount of what we have here on the ground. (It is higher than that, the wind blew some off the top)

Happy Winter  confuseconfuseconfusefurious

I see the wind pattern has changed. That should give you some relief.

Heading my way now.

We will not get that much here in the banana belt.

Shovelled it AGAIN, just about wore the shine out on the stainless !!!!

Over 3 feet here for the weekend now, but they say nothing till Thursday.

Buddy of mine had to go into work today to check the furnace in Port Carling.. Told me he had to shovel four feet away from the shop door to get in. Brand new Ford pickup he was pushing snow to the top of the hood  !!!!

As Bruce knows we had planned to spend my Birthday weekend at the Cottage near Bala but made the call to stay in Toronto based on forecast and traffic cameras view on Friday morning. By early afternoon power was out and has been for three days and a metre of snow accumulated on Shores of Lake Muskoka. Made the right call, had to change up BD plans but still had a great weekend!

Love Bala. I've had many muffins and scones fro Don's Bakery and seen many bands at the "Kee to Bala".

Our family cottage is near Mactier, on Lake Joseph. They've had to fly in helicopters in the past to clear to snow off of roofs so they wouldn't collapse.

Regards, Scott (LandShark...)

Always keep some of Don's scones in the freezer and cranberries too, oh and the bottles of Maple Syrup we go through from Brooklands Farm!

I have 4 of those. Have a blade on another for the lighter snow. I didn't need the blower at all last year. full
