Nothing this year. My wife and I decided years ago not to exchange gifts. I told my son not to bother either as he has enough expenses with moving into his new home. We are however eating a lot of good food.

Our 2 married kids and their spouses know there's nothing we are in need of or want other than time with them and our grandchildren. They made us a very special little free-standing calendar and the pictures alternate each month with pictures of our 2 new grandchildren. One of the best gifts they ever gave us. I've said for years I feel the pressure to buy gifts is blown way out of proportion. We buy them all something fairly cheap/basic and then write them a cheque so they can buy what they need or want.

Other than my parents and kids we stopped giving gifts. Nephews/Nieces/ brothers /Sisters etc......all we did was exchange gift cards! So we all decided to stop. Much calmer/nicer..just a big family dinner/get together. Same with us Carl. Kids give us a list. We buy 1 thing from it and give them some $$$ to pick the next thing they want. My shopping was done early with no lineups!!!

Like a few of you here, my wife and I don't give gifts to each other, If we need something we just buy it.
But this year I got a gift. Kinda of a Gag gift but will have to try it out. There is a few different scents, Xmas blend.

Same with my wife and I. Christmas gifts are a thing of the past. I bought this for myself as the old homemade one is quite cumbersome
