1965 Pontiac Gauges

I have the 4 in dash gauges for 1965. All 65's had the fuel and ammeter like this, Custom Sports had the vacuum gauge (by far the hardest to find of all these gauges) and the rest had either a blank plate or an optional clock in the third hole.

The faces on these gauges look quite nice. Some of the chrome I would call driver quality but I haven't tried cleaning it up. Often a good polish will make it nicer.

Regardless, I have what you see here and am asking $150 for everything. I'm told the vacuum gauge alone brings that much in the US because the guys down there want it for their cars since it was never available on the US Pontiacs. They had a floor mounted vacuum gauge only, no in dash vacuum gauge.

Located in Manitoba, willing to ship anywhere for actual costs.

Do you know if the clock works?

I don't know. I could test it but I sure doubt it will work or at least be accurate if it works. They never do!

Would you like me to test it?

Not necessarily. Its the only thing on my dash not working. I don't need the other guages. By chance do you know the inner diameter of the guage pods? Could you insert aftermarket guages in them?

If you don't mind waiting until tomorrow evening I can get any questions you have answered. I'm kind of tied up until then.

The OD of the lens is 2.25" and the ID of the opening in the housing is 2.09"

I'll test the clock after Ken's radio show ends in about an hour.

I tried a power wire to the clock and a ground, no action so it likely needs the same service almost every other 60's GM clock needs. File the points, some WD 40 and at best it might work, might not, might be accurate but likely not!

Happy New Year. Sorry about late response. Thank you for looking for me. I had thought about installing Autometer or Stewart Warner guages into the pods. Has this been done?
