bought the car Feb of 2012... finally put the right parts in line. The car came out of Nevada 2 years ago.. sun burnt and DRY... ( SD421 bought and drove it up )
1/2 built the 455 for it, and bought a fresh Brute Power Borg Warner for it . It was disc brakes and a 3.55 posi.
I got cracking on the body at the start of Feb 2013, for a quick paint spray.. no real rust , just wrinkly 1/4's from parking lots...
I've shown some pics before , but here they are again...start to present.
cheers!

wrestling with the color a bit,, it was just going to do a cheap touch up , without getting into stripping the whole ...WAY past that point !! what did I say about OCD...LOL !
I'm most likely going to spray it in my shop, myself or a buddy...
car is originally that turquise blue..
options..
RESALE RED
Black
Graphite metallic grey...
crappy thing is , I am going way over board on the body work , or at least the what I first thought. My intent for the car when I bought it was to be rough around the edges...ALL DRIVETRAIN !
This is not a restoration (I still have one of those on the go that has been pushed into the corner...again ! )
thanks for all the encouragement thus far!

some more progress...... doesn't appear to be that much further along ...but after mayber 60 hours ,, it is all square and true...
the back window channel had been repaired, they mudded it over basically a flat from the window to the trunk...NOT with the nice curve that it has in it again.
roof had some small wrinkles at the back where it was crowned.. stud gun and panel buddy took care of most of that ..just a few hours with mud to make it nice.
REALLY...I think this week home ..IT will get primer ...finally...
thank goodness this was a nearly rust free car !!!!!
