I'm just wondering what this glass bottle is. It's bolted to the firewall, and has a filter in the cap. It's hooked up to the intake manifold and the side of the block. I've never seen it on any other car or in any other pictures. It's on my 1948 Pontiac Streamliner. Thanks, -Blake.

My 51 pops out of third gear while driving. If i hold the lever down while driving I'm good, but when I take my hand off to corner it slips into neutral. Any suggestions on what to adjust?

the u joint have a 1/4 inch of play from side to side of the yoke on both side of the yoke the one that goes in the tork tube and the one that goes in the transmission is it normal.
