I know the American 57 is longer but is it wider also? If it is wider that would mean the bumpers are not interchangeable along with the hood nose chrome correct? Looking through a factory brochure on this site I see a Pontiac script used mounted above the front wheel opening.My car doesn't have this script so I was wondering if it was dropped for production?

Looking for a rear trunk guard bar for my 49 Pontiac,preferably one that is nos or in good shape still as I have 2 already that I could rechrome.Just need the crossbar as I have 2 nos uprights already.

Took some rubbing compound to a section on the quarter panel to see if the old paint would come back to life after 61 years and was surprised at the results. Here is a picture showing the area worked on.

for early 50's GM body bolts with J-clip. They look similar to a 5/16 x 3/4 lag bolt....head is 7/16. Had a quick look on ebay.....and the ones I see are machine thread...

Does anyone know if the shape of the wheel opening on a 57 Pontiac 4 door wagon is the same as the 57 Chevy wagon?if so will the Chevy skirts fit the Pontiac? Will a Chevy sun visor fit the Pontiac as the roof looks the same to me from pictures? Thanks

Refurbishing the hood latch and noticed that the safety or second latch is made up of multiple layers of rubber where it catches on the hood. This can't be stock is it?
