Anyone know where i can get some cast or cut? I wonder if maybe a sign company can waterjet them or something..... i'll have to ask around...
Interesting how high up that cheetah emblem is, close to the beaumont emblem... assuming they used the 2 holes from the V8 fender emblem, the pins must have been close the bottom of the cheetah emblem... or maybe they were just adhered on the front fender....

That is AWESOME!!! looks like they painted the front sway bar red... dayyum! now i'll dream about owning that car!!
Carl2, what do you think, should i get some emblems cast and put them on my front fenders!?? I'd do it!! make mine a cheetah clone....

I think it would be great! Guys are running Yenko emblems, and Royal Bobcat emblems. Its a part of History, and no one will know about it, unless someone adds them to their car, as a reminder of the good old days.... Yes..

I had decals made up for my truck, so I didn't have to drill hood.. I took a original GM Cowl Induction emblem, and had it made, in chrome with black around edge to give it a "depth" look I am going to get some Sport Deluxe made so I can make a 1 of 1 Ventura SD .. So maybe you could get some decals made first? just a thought... Carl here my hood picture...

When I worked in Exeter 1990-2006 there was a "sign guy" who worked 2 days in London. He had them done for me..(Hes gone now) There is a new sign guy in Clinton, I am going to see if he can do similar work for me I liked the cowl decal so well, I would do that, as a "tempory measure", for rare Beaumont/ Acadian stuff... I've got a local supplier who offered to make me some out of aluminum... maybe i'll have some on my car soon enough.... not sure whether to weld on the 2 studs or is there a 'non-permanent' adhesive for cars? i guess trim adhesive would work... hmmm...

There was 2 studs on the badge with this car........
i assumed there were, and they must have been very low on the badge since it sits up pretty high to the beaumont emblem (and off centre a bit)... if i put them on my car i'm going to lower the emblem a bit from the picture you have as an avatar...
do you have a pic of the back of the emblem?? and is that one aluminum?
I've never thought of a car as a little boy or girl before, that's kind of creepy?! but whatever makes your cheetah purr is none of my business!hahaha!
...earlier in the thread it looks like there were 2 new holes drilled for the emblem on the 67 in SK, its too bad they didnt lower and center the emblem, i guess since they started the emblem on the 66 like you've shown ron they didnt plan to have the emblem line up with factory holes and just installed them where they wanted...
looking forward to seeing the cheetah article up online, its certainly interesting...
Hi guys and gals, I am new to this site, been following since my good freind poncho67 posted the info on the Sask. Cheetah. I just want to let you all know that I do NOT agree with making a clone of the Cheetah badge. I am the babysitter of the Sask. Cheetah and would not have agreed to post the info and pictures of this car if the info was to be used to make a clone. On the brite side I have more information on this car that will remain with the car as proof the it is an original documented CHEETAH by Conroy!
ps. I have been asked by the owner to do a completed restoration of this car. Lenair

68 yes, 69 not sure, conroy pontiac changed to royal pontiac , i have more info on its way, just got in touch with some guys that were involved in the cheetah program and they are digging up some more info for me, stand by , i will get on this asap these guys are getting old and health is a factor.
A couple of years ago, while tracing the history of my 68 2+2, which was sold through Conroy, I tracked down a fella that worked there in the 60's and I believe worked or ran the dealership when it became Royal.
His name was M. Carmichael (can't remember his first name).
If you're interested, I still have the phone number I used to contact him 2 or 3 years ago.
