I finally decided to install them this weekend during our 30 drops of rain. Just a small thing in the big picture but my car came as bare bones as it could have been so now as I've gotten old I will give people a little more warning what my intentions are.
Looks sweet Jerel, always nice to see those parking lot posts!!...hope you didn't get your hair too wet during the shower. Shampoo and blow dry can run up there!
Congrats Jerel. On the topic of backup lights, I was talking to a fella who does 3D printing over the weekend. I might follow up and see what the odds are of him doing Beaumont backup lights. (And then investigate the cost of plastic chrome plating.)

Boy, you would be popular if you could come up with a solution for them. I know Kelly gave it a pretty good run a couple of years ago but they sure don't have a very good percentage for surviving. I've heard a couple of these 3D stories and they were impressive.

There wasn't even enough moisture to work up a lather! Back inside and grabbed the facecloth.
Have a friend who made the trek from Ontario. Will await his stories when he returns.
Cool! Would be neat if they met up Ken. Is he racing and if so what class. Can FB my sis to look out for him...might need some Canadian help. Sorry for all the posts guys/gals but on pins and needles waiting for the first run!! Boys passed tech and bail out time so we have 3 that can run. She's looking good..hope she runs as good!

My friend is only a spectator. It was on his bucket list to attend. Recent senior citizen will pure white hair.
Bonneville: Boys got their feet wet today. Testing out truck, eng, trans and gearing (was only driven into the trailer). Up to 120 mph drove straight and said has more in her. Going to push her more tomorrow, hit 125 and their out of the rookie driver class.
Rookies no more, guys are licensed to 175mph. Ran truck on new track(up to 175 mph) got to 134. With the air density elevation is equal to 7000'. Truck is running great but having prob with converter. Trans drops rpm 3000 between shifts, more programming to go. Getting there bit by bit.
That sure looks and sounds like fun. Some day I'd like to do the Bonneville experience....
Maybe JohnneeD and I could go. Hahahah, I crack me up, JohnneeD and me travel together somewhere. As if....
Glad they are doing well Jim. Keep the updates flowing.
I think your too hard on JohnneeD Carl? You should have him up to the lake house
for a week of fishing and checkers? LMAO
Hell maybe Jim and I would come up also just to see this and tk pics?

Glad I could see you two guys laugh instead of constantly bickering with each other. I hate that when two site members are constantly annoying one another.......

Bonneville: Boys are on their way home. No record this year but a great learning experience! Last I heard was 134 mph but the guys were having trans/shifting problems. Not too bad for a truck that had only been driven 50' and mostly built in a month and a half. We'll get her dialed in for next year! Pic of the crew..minus 1.
Thanks for the update, maybe drop a clutch and 5 speed in it? Eliminate all that slippage.......... Quite a project and I bet they had a wonderful time.
