Not in my driveway and not today but over the last couple of weeks this has kept me busy at our little off grid cabin on a lake in NW Ontario.
I built a new deck from scratch. I am NOT a carpenter, all criticism cheerfully accepted if you see flaws! I don't have pictures once the railing was completed, sorry.

I hope you took out a permit, Ontario needs your tax dollars
I pretty much worked out there most of the daylight hours all week long and likely didn't swat more than 10 flies a day and maybe 1-2 mosquitoes per day. It's a great non-bug year.
Kevin, no permit required. Non-restricted area where we are. Zero services, no hydro, no garbage pickup, no sewer and water, no mail delivery, no school taxes. We love it! A lot of people say it's too far to drive, to far from town (45 minutes) etc but to us it's all worth it. 22 cabins on the lake and likely no more than 6-8 of us use our powerboats more than once every week or two. There are days where we don't even see a boat on the lake. Crystal clear water, nice sand weedless bottom for us to swim. And our taxes including the road maintenance tax are now up to $500/year so I don't think we're helping your economy much at the moment.

Looks like that door was almost ready to walk out by itself. I just did one like that Friday at my son's, almost identical condition. Lots of soft wood along the threshold.

The new door was advertised to have a composite threshold but the frame is side butted.
It will draw moisture like a wick.
I have to see if I have some good quality paint for the area before I install the door,

Kevin, do you ever just go up and sit in the white rocking chair, and say in a deep voice" Behold my kingdom" while fanning your hands out in front of you?

More like I put my hands on my head and say why not one or two cars, retire, travel the country sit on a dock and gaze over the water

Good, next time you come for breakfast, the door frame in the right of this picture is in need of replacement too....

Might not be the greatest but I Wanted to do a temporary fix for now on the quarter. The crack was bugging me. Ground off the flux, filled, and primed for now. Bare metal, then used all metal filler and coat Of body filler on top of the sanded metal filler But still have to work on it some more... would be better if I had a compressor and air tools, but did what I could for now...
