dash bezels - 67 GP

I received a new set of dash bezels yesterday. 3 of the 5 were easy, the lights and wiper bezels wont easily come off. The lights are a pull knob so I expected this one would be different, as the others are turn knobs. The wiper knob is off, but the bezel wont come off, is there a clip, or just needs more persuasion?  I didnt try the light knob....will it tap (pull) straight off? The light bezel is the only flaky one, as I expect it had more sun.  Any help would be appreciated. If it was someone elses car, I would have had them off already. ;)

If the light knob is like all the other GM cars in that era, you have to get your hand up behind there to the switch. On the side opposite the wire connector, you will feel a tiny little plunger that is spring loaded. Pull the headlights to "on", depress the plunger, then pull on the knob and it will come right out together with the rod.

If I remember right, the bezels unscrew for the light switch and the wiper both.

excellent. Thanks for the info. I'm glad I didnt listen to onlookers who said more force is all it needed. Thanks Carl
