1967 poncho frame help


hey guys need a little help figuring out how to remove the body from my broken frame in my driveway. I got a new frame coming from manitoba in the spring

thanks carl yea i found him went to the photobucket page and those photos dont really help im looking for a way to lift the body like a crane or somthing have any idea what i can use

You can just use floor and bumper jacks or a engine hoist.
Take the front clip off.

Just work it up front and back, side to side until it's high enough to get some 4x4's underneath and resting on some horses. Roll the frame right out.
You just have to be creative (and carefull) and you'll get it done.
Another way is to jack the entire car up as high as you can get it with blocks under the wheels, put stands under the body sills, un block the wheels and let the body down to the ground. I just farted around over a afternoon with jacks and blocks and I got it done.

It wouldn't hurt to brace even a HT. But in your case, I'd just leave the doors on and closed.
