Anyone familiar with the mid-60's full-size GM's knows that the Impalas/Parisiennes etc. have a very classy little interior light at the back of the console that goes on and off with the opening and closing of the doors. Very classy. This little light has a rectangular (actually trapezoidal-)-shaped lens, which is not clear but opaque and has a slide-in tab at each corner to help keep it in place in its housing. When we got our car the lens was in place but kept falling out because one tab was broken off and any little vibration would pop it out and onto the rear floor. Well last night, under the long thin heel of a beautiful long-legged young lady named Chloe, it met its maker!! Does anybody have one of these little boogers lyin' around. Actually, I'll take five of 'em if it gets Chloe to get into the back of our car five more times with that skirt she was wearing!! If people aren't sure of the part, I can take a pic and post it here (..of the lens that is, not Chloe's legs...I'm sure you already have a pretty good idea of what they look like..)
