Identical twin to the basket case SD car I sold. Beautiful! I will never regret selling because it helped payments on a cottage, but man oh man it would be nice to have a car like that...

Very nice. The 74 is my favorite second only to the 69.

Shhh, he asked me to keep it a secret as to who owned it!!! As if you can keep it secret when you buy every SD part on ebay that comes up for sale.......

How do you know Dave?

Sadly, his cars for the most part won't ever see the road. Too much time spent working and buying more cars and parts. I think one of the last (classic) cars he ever had on the road was the 66 Nova SS I sold him in the late 80's.

I would love to see his SD back on the road some day. The documents showed less than 100 in Canada if I am right.

I love those cars too, especially the 73's. I used to rip up the streets with my buddy in his 74, white with blue decals and a red interior, sold new at Kipp Scotts in Red Deer. My service manager at the GM dealership also owned the car. NIce resto there !

Yes, I found my documents and it says 95 SD's for 74 in Canada.

Great job on the restoration. The under side looks amazing! Do you restore cars as a hobby or a profession?

Carl do you happen to have the PHS (US Documentation) on that car also? Anybody know what a 1974 Corvette cost new? The Blue SD and My White SD both cost around $7100 and came from the same Dealer,Plaza Pontiac in Toronto.

No, I never bothered to get the PHS on it. If you have any interest in getting it I would be happy to send you the VIN in a PM or email though.

I just got the Canadian papers because I knew sooner or later the car would be for sale and you never know if GM will keep on doing this for us.

Yes, decent list and yet is has no air, no cruise and no power door locks.

The later cars always seem to have a more detailed list than the 60's cars though.

Thanks Carl. I sure do appreciate photographers more with every pic I take I am trying to get one of my kids into it so they can handle that end of the restorations.
