RE: Possibility of repro seat Covers for 66 Grande Parisienne buckets

Hi Carl sorry for delay. I hauled a seat up and took some measurements.

A  =  3 inches even

B  =  2 15/16"

C  =  4 5/8"

D  =  4 5/8'  (makes sense)

E   =  4 inches even  (It does taper)

Here's  another picture of the top of the seat back for reference. This is my former drivers seat so its in a bit rougher shape than the one in the car bit good enough for measurements I think.

Ken, that is perfect perfect perfect!

That closeup shot is great too. I'm going to email that all to him tomorrow and give him a call. He's hoping to have time to start on them this week.

Thanks again. My tab is getting pretty high and overdue. I need to knock it down somehow!

Yeah thats the trickiest part of the seat.  The rest is just straight pleats so shouldn't be too difficult.

You don't owe me a thing so stop agonizing!

Ok, I won't agonize but I won't forget the help either!

It's almost time for you to get well and get back at that yellow car Ken.

We need updates!

I would be interested in seat covers for my 66. Will keep watching this thread.

Had the 66 since about 83 and the 65 since 88.
Both still require a lot of work.

1964 CS same as Gand Prix........are you sure?.......1963 Parisienne buckets are identical to the 1963 American Bonneville....not the Grand Prix.
