...yeah, I wouldn't mind knowing too. I'm going to check to see if all fuses are working. Clock doesn't work (surprise..) and I thought I'd do the logical thing and try the small stuff first. I'm sure it's just stopped with age, and if so, I'll just yank it and probably have a quartz movement put in. I know a guy who can do it...anybody have any thoughts re that move..?

i,ve heard from a few car guys now, that most jewellers can repair our old clocks, as it is usually dust and dirt that binds them up. sound logical to me. i,m gonna bring mine in soon and see if the locals can fix it.

...took a look at the fuse panel...a little rusty!!..don't think I'll touch it right now as everything is working and "if it ain't broke...". Also removed the rearview mirror to clean/polish it..it was (I thought) beyond polishing it was so rusty...used Mother's - zip, Simichrome, same thing...then...AUTOSOL..unbelievable!! Took some elbow grease but mirror is now like new...!! Unfort. don't have a before/after 'cause I figured all was lost before I began, but that stuff is amazing!! And taking the mirror off was fun but re-installing it??? So much fun I almost shot myself. I eventually had to unscrew both chrome strips at the top of the windshield and then fit everything together at the mirror like a jigsaw puzzle as I pushed the entire assembly gently up and into place, then try to hold it all together with one hand as I screwed everything back into place with the other. And how many times did I do it as everything fell apart?? Eventually got it all back together but I think I'll polish that mirror in place from here on..

AUTOSOL is amazing....!
