I had a member ask me about the steps to remove a heater core so I hope these pictures help. You remove the bolts on the firewall and the heater box inside the car will drop into the car. One of the nuts is behind the inner fender but a boxed rachet end wrench will get that. I put a blanket on top for the motor and layed on top of it to make it easier to see. Remove the glove box but you can leave the heater control cables on it. There is two 5/16" nuts that hold in the heater core. If they are rusted the pressure fit clip on the other side can be pried off quite easily. I removed the passenger seat also because it makes it easier to access the heater box. Hope this helps.
