Maybe your springs are the problem. Was this an original big block car ?

What year Beaumont? I know Headman elites are best fit for 66-67 big block cars but diffrent years fit diffrently.

I put in some Headman Elites when I put in my new suspension in. I did have to shave a bit of metal off of my passenger side lower control arm mount on the frame. I also had to jack up the motor on the drivers side to get the drivers side in which is pretty standard. Overall a great fitting headder. Didn't have to bend or dent a thing on the actual headder. I still have pretty good access to the starter and oil filter too, which is nice. If you need a part number I'm sure I can dig one up. My 67 is a big block, power steering, power brakes, no A/C. An added bonus is the ball flanges for the collectors, no leaks!
