I was on Performance Years forum last night searching for factory tach info and came across a great resource if anyone is looking for tach installation in a full size. I just wanted to post up the pics here.

Hmm, they all show up just fine on my computer.

I'll save them and try again.

I should ask, is it just in the first post, or in the entire thread?

All of them. It is an issue with photobucket.

I fixed the photobucket images I found but many of the pictures are not from there. Brad, are you saying there is not one picture available to you in this thread?

This spring I I was lucky enough the find a 66 factory tach for my freshly restored 65 convertible
I have read this posting with interest. My tach has no wires but has 2 terminals. One for lights, One for coil, and ground wire to body of the tach
I was hoping to see the answer for where to connect the the wire to the coil. I have never hooked up a tach with no ignition wire. I tried hooking it up to my 4 cylinder tractor by connecting to negative side of coil and grounding the body of the tach but nothing happened so I switched to positive side and it seams to work. Now for my question. I have an LS3 installed in the car. Dose anybody have experience connecting this tach to this application. The LS signal is negative.
Any help would be appreciated.
Harry
