Ok, go back there and write down the numbers on any that start with 702 or 704. Send me the numbers and I will tell you which ones to grab. Chevy carbs have 90 degree fuel inlet Pontiac Buick Olds are straight inlet.
If you see 7040270 take it out of the pile and come directly to my house, I will pay you $200 for it.

I would say over 1,000. The City of Toronto garbage guy got 99% of them and scrapped them. One day there, next day gone. You know those metal Garden Sheds? Hillar had one that was absolutely jammed with carbs, about 6x9 jammed with Quadrajets. Pretty much all of the metal parts went to this guy, Stacks of Rally Wheels taller than me, GTO fenders, valances and quarters, hoods , bumpers, you name it, the guy even scrapped the nice wheels off the late model Z28 and summer wheels for the Subaru. We bought the garage contents from Hillar's Dad and there were a few milk cartons full, 4 or 5 five per carton - 18 carbs, 6 sbc, 3 bbc. 3 Pontiac 400/455 and 6 Buick 455 800cfm. There were a few more but they have been given to Canadian Poncho friends. I think Willie put one on that nicely restored Camaro numbers match he did LOL!
Picture the show "Buried Alive" x 10 to get an idea of Hillar's place. It is very sad every time I think about how emotionally damaged he was and dying all alone like that with that 44 Magnum nearby.
Hillar knew Quadrajets cold and I learned from him. One time at a a swap he bought a carb for $15 which the vendor was asking $25. He later put it on ebay and got over $1,000 for it...#7040270 if you can believe it.
