HEI wiring Help!


im finally looking to wire my hei to the fuse box ive been looking around the internet to find somthing like this but i really can't find any help could someone give me simple instrustions to wire it up?

Jonathon, you need to wire it 12V from anything thats "HOT" with the key on start & run, if yout car was points, the wire that went to the coil is a "resister" wire & will cut the voltage back to around 8 volts on "run" position. I have a wire here, that has the right connector on it to "plug" into cap,if you need one??? Pete

thanks guys but do i just splice my hei wire into my fuse box or right to the igniton?

I'd go to the Ign. switch, find the wire thats hot on Crank & on run!!! You don't want power there w/key OFF or you'll burn out the module.

 Jon, did you even read through that link I posted?????? It is all in there! That is why I said to pick your poison! There are 2-3 examples to choose from!!!!

 Pete, our '67 Pontiacs have a separate male blade in the fuse box marked "IGN FUSED".... It is the easiest and simplest way to fire up the HEI! (for now)

 Get a female blade terminal, plug and play... No other mods required... Only if you want to make it neater..........

OK i think i have it.... looking at my pictures and what not (i don't have my car at my house no) soo it's kinda hard to tell if im right or not ill go look into it now thanks guys!
