Sent a request for a fabric sample from SMS just last week. Replied back very quickly with samples...they actually have it! The swatches seem to be an exact match. Pricey at $85/89yd, but priceless that it's still available. A relief knowing that I can still get it as my otherwise near perfect front seat has developed a large tear. So I'll likely buy what I need to get it eventually done. It's beautiful fabric with the textured having a rather neat checkered pattern, the smooth having a light to dark metallic sheen depending on the angle and light. I'll still need the blue vinyl for the base and sides.
I'll be talking to my interior guy, but till then, any idea how many yards one would need to do a big bench? Ultimately a 67 Strato Bench if I can find one (which would likely need less material than the big bench).
2 door, but such a nice seat.

SMS should be able to tell you. I'd call them and give them the specs on your seat (give them the U.S model that seat came in). I'm pretty sure they will even create the covers for you.
in order to calculate it you need to know which way the pattern runs on the bolt compared to the way your pattern runs on your seat, bolts are around 4.5 feet in length give or take. take your tape measure seat bottom lengh width , seat back length width and so on and a foot to each being vert generous that gives an approximate amount
I just ordered material from SMS a few months ago and I got 5 yards each (total of 10 yards)of the two different vinyls for my front bench and rear seat for my Biscayne. This is with some extra to have some left over for a possible repair later on. I'm pretty sure it was 10 yards total but can't remember exactly.
