The Differences Between '65 & '64 Parisienne CS Emblems/Script


The PARISIENNE rear quarter emblem

1965 emblem is 15" long, and has solid letters.

1964 emblem is 17 3/4" long and has a "holes" in the P,A,R,S,E, & N letters.

The CUSTOM SPORT front fender script 

1965 script is 10 1/4" long, the "CUSTOM" portion has horizontial ribs in the background and is smaller in size, the "SPORT" portion is less attached to the "CUSTOM" portion, it has shorter mounting pins on the back.

1964 script is 12" long, the "CUSTOM" portion has a smooth background and is larger in size, the "SPORT" portion is more attached to the "CUSTOM" portion, it has longer mounting pins on the back.

The CUSTOM SPORT trunk script

Both the 1965 & 1964 script are 8 1/4" long.

i always just thought  65 66 was dainty compared to 64 and it broke easier

They seem way more fragile.

I not saying this because I own a '64, but I like the '64 font and scale on the script/emblems better.

oh no they are fragile big no no car washes even clothing brushing up aginst them would snap them , sort of like grand lettering, i was almost tempted to have some CNC machined out of aluminium but the cost
