66 SD Rear speaker switch location

Just wondering if there is more than one correct location for the rear speaker switch and how it operates? Is all the way left for front speaker, in the middle for both and fully to the right for rear?

I am quite certain the under radio location is not an original location for that switch.

If nobody else can help, I may have rear speaker switch mounting measurements in the Beaumont assembly manual microfiche.

Funny my power top switch is down there too. I am sure it is supposed to be up under the dash? Dont see how it is supposed to run the wire?

Sorry I forgot to get the photos till now. The switch is centered between the tach and the gas guage. It is centered the other way the photo shows. Here they are. Paul.

The shop manual shows the convertible top switch up at the top left of the dash but doesn't show the speaker switch. I'm thinking that if it was added after, it would be alot easier to put it under the dash.

Thanks for all the input, I'm thinking the one in 65sssd's pictures looks totally correct. Stan
