rear shock install!!


hey guys need some help i can't get my rear end low enough to connect the shocks???? what should i do??? im in a time crunch today!!

Push the shocks in....If they are all the way in now, your shocks are wayyyyyyyy too long

i got them in i had to compress the rear end alot i put over 800 pounds of friends in the rear to get it low enough!!!! thank you for the advice!!!

You had the shocks pulled all the way extended and couldn't get them on? Either you have the way wrong (too tall/hd) rear springs, or your shocks are way too short. If you drive it like that, the first dip you go through will destroy the shocks when they try to extend coming up the other side...

Wow, something ain't right there. I just did shocks and springs on my 68 2+2, dropped right in. Must be pretty heavy duty shocks!!! :)
